The Taller Entre Aguas (TEA) team is proposing a three-fold project that aims to re-present Black Puerto Rican data in the ongoing wake(s) of colonialism, slavery, and cisheteropatriarchy. To do so, we aim to deliver source material curated by our Black studies approach within our three digital exhibitions (The Registro, Criadas, and Libertos Projects), contribute to curriculum about how to teach about Afro-Puerto Rican past and futures, and curating public-facing talleres that offer best practices for decolonial work through a Black Puerto Rican lens.
